Management Team

The elders have asked the “day-to-day” operation to be supervised by the management team.  They operate under the established guidelines of the 501(c)(3) corporation.

 

Don Blackwell, Executive Director, is a graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching. He has done local work in Bankston, AL, Statesville, NC, and North Charleston, SC. He served as Director of Broadcasting with Truth for the World in Duluth, GA, from 2002 to 2006, where he produced television and radio programs that were heard around the world. A graduate of St. Leo College with an Associate degree, Don received his BA in Biblical Studies from Southern Christian University and his MA from Liberty University. Don hosts the one minute spot called Sixty Seconds About the Second Coming as well as being one of the speakers on the Truth About series. Don has worked with GBN since its inception.

John Stubblefield, C.P.A., Director of Finance and Personnel, graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2006 where he obtained his BS:BA Accounting degree.  John is a licensed CPA and has 10+ years of accounting and finance experience with both non-profit and for-profit entities. For the past several years he worked with Fortune 100 company FedEx where he led the financial operations for two VP organizations.  John has been active in the church for 20+ years and has served as treasurer for a local congregation in Mississippi, where he currently also serves as a deacon.  He and his wife, Jennifer, have two boys, John and Henry.

Mark Teske, Director of Operations and Programming, is a 2003 graduate of the Brown Trail School of Preaching in Bedford, TX and has preached for congregations in Texas and Kentucky.  He holds a BS degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans and is a CPA.  Mark has worked as an accountant and as Chief Financial Officer of several hospitals in Alabama and Florida.  He has served as the Executive Director of the Truth in Love program, during which time it grew from 1 local TV station to 11 full-power TV stations throughout the country.  He has produced numerous DVDs and consults with various congregations and brotherhood works on video production and technology issues.

Glenn Colley was born in Houston, Texas and is a third-generation preacher. He graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in 1981, has been preaching for 32 years, and has been married to Cindy for 31 years. They have two children, Caleb who is 27 and Hannah who is 24 and married to Ben Giselbach. Glenn and Cindy are the authors of books such as “You’re Singing My Song,” “Your Mama Don’t Dance,” “Headed to the Office,” “Crown of Creation,” “Women of Deliverance,” “Get Real” (co-authored with Chuck Webster) and “Loose Change.” They have also produced CD’s called “Hannah’s Hundred” which are Bible verses set to music to help children memorize the Scripture from a very young age. Glenn holds as many gospel meetings each year as local work will allow and often conducts week-end seminars about the family and home with his wife Cindy. Glenn has done foreign mission work in campaigns in Africa, South America, India and Ukraine. He serves on Boards of Directors for Lads-to-Leaders. Glenn is currently the pulpit minister for the West Huntsville Church of Christ in Huntsville, Alabama where he also serves as an elder.

Ralph Upton is a retired North Carolina Division Manager for Gold Kist (now Pilgrims Pride) where he worked for 34 years. Prior to that he was an Agricultural Extension Agent in Nashville, TN, working with the 4-H program. He has been a faithful Christian for over 45 years. He has served as treasurer for a local congregation in Tennessee and as a deacon in congregations in Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Agriculture. He and his wife, Sue, have three children.
