Our Mission

Mission

Our mission at the Gospel Broadcasting Network (GBN) is to bring awareness of Jesus Christ and make believers all over the world. The world is filled with lost souls who need the light of the Word of God. We bring the Lord’s light to these people and other believers using Bible-based and unbiased views from the Word of God.

We use only the Bible as the source of our faith and instruction for how to practice the Bible’s teachings. We are directing people back to the New Testament church, established by Christ, in its pure and original form. Through these lessons, we seek to be New Testament Christians only, thus the “church of Christ,” or the church belonging to Christ, which is free from any denominational influences.

Our resources are free, for “you cannot serve both God and money” (Matthew 6:24).

From our videos for Christian youth to our free online Christian radio programs, we deliver the message of God’s love and salvation to potential and current Christians.

What We Practice

You’ll find the following Biblical truths are the foundation of our resources:

  • The church of Christ is not a denomination but seeks only to be the church of the New Testament. We do not follow man-made doctrines, creeds or manuals. We have no creed except Jesus Christ. We adhere to the Bible only and “speak as the oracles of God” (1 Peter 4:11).
  • The plan of salvation, as laid out in the New Testament, teaches that to be saved for eternity one must hear the Word of God and believe and confess that Jesus is the Son of God. He must also repent of his sins and be immersed in water for the forgiveness of his sins by Christ’s blood.
  • Consistent with John 4:24, as we seek to, “worship in spirit and truth.” The acts of worship, as laid out in the New Testament, include: preaching, singing and praying, as well as giving and partaking in the Lord’s Supper. These acts are conducted in the same way as the early church established by Christ.
  • The organization of the church of Christ follows what the New Testament reveals. Elders oversee each congregation. Serving under the eldership are deacons, evangelists and individual members of the church. Everyone serves under the Great Shepherd, Jesus Christ.
