Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven
(Matthew 5:16).

In the magnificent sermon on the mount,
Jesus exhorted His followers to be an impact
on the world around them by the world seeing
them involved in good works.

Be a “good work finder” – seek ways in which
you can assist others on their journey.
Give notice especially concerning the One to
whom the glory is given. May we never seek
praise and credit for anything we may do –
but endeavor to give the credit and honour
to our Almighty, All-knowing, Everywherepresent
Father in heaven.

The purpose of our
shining lights is simply to “glorify your Father
which is heaven.”
