GBN is under the oversight of the elders of Highland Church of Christ in Dalton, Georgia. The Highland elders also oversee the television program, Preaching the Gospel, with James Watkins, and God has blessed this program with wonderful growth over the last seven years under their capable direction. Now, these evangelistic shepherds have embarked on a new and exciting outreach to air the truth and nothing but the truth 24/7 on satellite to millions of homes in the United States, and parts of Canada and South America.

Barry GILREATH is also one of the elders at Highland. He has also been a faithful gospel preacher for many years, and in recent years has worked full-time with the television program, Preaching the Gospel. In seven short years, that program has expanded to some 35 television markets, including nationwide coverage on three religious networks. Barry has been instrumental in this phenomenal growth, and is poised to help direct Gospel Broadcasting Network to reach millions of souls twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week with the gospel. The program, Preaching the Gospel, is featured regularly on GBN.
Gary McDADE on top of specializing in retirement planning, business continuation planning, and estate planning, Gary is now the Director Of Development for GBN. He currently serves as the preacher for the Getwell church of Christ in Memphis, TN, the staff writer for The Spiritual Sword quarterly journal, and director for the annual Spiritual Sword Lectureship.
Gary is also the speaker on the weekly Truth In Love radio broadcast from Getwell, which has been continuously airing over WHBQ, 56 AM at 8 a.m. for more than fifty years each Sunday morning.

Jim DEARMAN'S background before preaching was in broadcasting. He majored in communications at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and worked in radio and television for many years before training to preach the gospel.
Since that time he has been active in preaching on both radio and television, having been a speaker for Truth for the World radio and television for several years now. GBN produces a daily hour-long program hosted by Jim Dearman titled Good News Today. Good News Today incorporates both unique content as well as portions of other programs that appear on GBN.

Leroy DEDMON has been associated with Preaching the Gospel from its inception in 1997. His association with James Watkins spans more than a half century. Brother Watkins baptized him in 1957 and conducted his wedding in 1959. He served as "Key Contact" for the Atlanta Area until he retired from local work. In August, 2004, he agreed to join the staff of PTG. Along with other duties he served as program coordinator, maintained the website and served as the editor of the monthly newsletter. When the offices of PTG and GBN merged in January of 2008, he assumed the responsibility of Operations Manager. Leroy is available to speak on behalf of GBN. He may be contacted by email at Leroy@gbntv.org.
Chad DOLLAHITE worships with the Highland congregation in Dalton, Georgia, where he serves as the deacon over youth. He has preached the Gospel since 1996, and he is a 1998 graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching. Chad has also attended Jacksonville State University and the University of Alabama and has done local work in Illinois, Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. Chad has been with the Gospel Broadcasting Network since January, 2006, when he began working with GBN as the production manager. In May, 2008, Jim Dearman stepped down as GBN’s program director in order to focus on producing the daily Good News Today program, and Chad became the new program director. Chad is available to speak on behalf of GBN and may be contacted at

"GBN is unique in the world of religious programming as support for the network comes entirely from contributions made by individual members and congregations within the Churches of Christ. The network does not solicit contributions on the air (thus there are no 'pledge' times or pleas for money). In fact, several of the network's personalities have stated that "...you will never hear a plea for money on this network." The network is under the oversight of the elders of the Highland Church of Christ in Dalton, Georgia. The GBN headquarters are located in Chattanooga, Tennessee although some of the taping occurs in studios located in Memphis, Tennessee and Montgomery, Alabama."
