Reap Joy
At the time of the creation of all things, God ordained that every seed would bring forth after its own kind. That law cannot be repealed, and it remains just as true with regard to the spiritual as it does regarding the natural. The apostle Paul assured the Galatians that a man will reap what he has sown, whether it be reaping the corruption of the flesh for sowing to the flesh or whether it be the reaping of life everlasting as a result of sowing to the Spirit. Job observed that those who plow iniquity and sow wickedness will reap the same. Solomon wrote that the one who sows iniquity will reap vanity. Both the Savior and John the Baptist before Him warned that every tree which fails to bring forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. Thankful are we for David’s observation that those who sow in tears shall reap joy.
