Body and Spirit
At the Fortieth of Exodus, God instructed Moses that the Tabernacle and its furnishings were all to be hallowed and holy. Such is to be expected of that where the Almighty shall make His presence known and is true also of the saints themselves. At First Corinthians Three, Paul wrote that Christians are regarded as the temple of God because of the indwelling of His Spirit. For this cause, those defiling the temple are warned of spiritual destruction. The manner of such defilement is sin, as pointed out at Chapter Six. Those belonging to Christ are admonished to flee fornication because it constitutes sin against the body which is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Because that temple is both holy and bought with a price, God is to be glorified in both body and spirit.
