Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work (2 Thessalonians 2:17).

Living a faithful Christian life has its share of hardships (2 Timothy 3:12; 1 Peter 4:12-16). We have an awesome commission handed down to us by the Lord Himself (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16). God expects His children to be His workmanship (Ephesians 2:10).
All that being said, we often get weary and stand in need of comfort (Galatians 6:9). Paul let the brethren in Thessalonica know that God has the desire and ability to comfort and stablish each one of His children, especially in the face of persecution. Are we stable and comforted in heart to faithfully proclaim the good word of God and be involved in His good work (1 Corinthians 15:58)? Why not let the Lord be your comfort today?
