If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God (Colossians 3:1).
Someone once noted: “If you want to be distressed – look within. If you want to be defeated – look back. If you want to be distracted – look around. If you want to be dismayed – look ahead. If you want to be delivered – look up!”
The key to proper conduct upon the earth is found by looking up to heaven. Continually seek out, strive for, and step toward heaven in everything you do (Isaiah 26:3). What words would you use if heaven was in your
thoughts? How would you treat others if you had heaven on your mind? What kind of work would you do if you focused on heaven? Think about it.
