Follow Wrong
Often particularly among the young, someone may choose a course of action because “everyone does that.” In reality, what most others seem to do is that which should first be held suspect. At the Seventh of Matthew, the Savior warned that most persons pass over a broadened road and through a widened gate that leads to destruction. Only a relative few travel the narrow road through the smaller gate that leads unto life. It is no wonder, then, that ancient Israel was instructed at the Twenty-Third of Exodus not to follow a multitude to do evil. Many are the followers in this world, while the effective and proper leaders have been far too few. Better it is to lead right than to follow wrong.
