Pray Without Ceasing
At the Sixth of Ephesians, Paul the apostle tells us that the whole armor of God is necessary to stand against the wiles of the devil. He goes on to describe six items that complete this armor. Even so, those taking the whole armor are further admonished to pray always; not only for self, but for all saints. It appears that the armor cannot be adequately wielded without petitioning the One Who provides it and doing so on behalf of all those who use it. Paul did not ask anyone to do anything he did not do himself. At Colossians One, he told the Church there that he prayed always for them and did not cease to do so. For ourselves and for all the family of God, our responsibility is to pray without ceasing.
