God’s word is right – literally straight or upright. It is a true guide for us because all that God does is true. All. There is nothing of His word which is false or crooked. We may speak things that are embellished or shaded or just flat-out falsehoods, but God never has and never will; indeed He cannot (Numbers 23:19). We can trust His word with our lives, our very souls – He will not lead us astray. The evidence of His love and goodness is all around us if we will only open our eyes to see (Romans 1:20).
