A Few Will Find It
At the Seventh of Deuteronomy, God described the Israelites as a holy people unto the Lord their God, and a special people above all people upon the face of the earth. Their holiness would be expressed to the extent that they dedicated themselves unto their Divinely appointed purpose, and the fact that they had a Divinely appointed purpose is what made them special. However, God described them as being fewer in number than any people of the time referenced. In this age, God’s people are His in Christ, and, as before, their holiness extends only as far as their dedication to the Divine purpose that makes them special. Not only so, but they remain few in number. Of the strait and narrow way that leads to life, the Savior warned that only a few will find it.
