Christians should be aware that the priority of life is not about forming resolutions, but faithfully applying God’s solution. After very painful lessons were learned in his daily life Solomon found the valued solution only in God. Ultimately, Solomon viewed the priority of pleasure, profit and prestige as resistance to his existence. A change was needed, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all” (Ecclesiastes 12:13).
What of us? Are we forming resolutions to greatness apart from Jehovah as our number one priority? Try God’s solution! It worked for Solomon.
