Daily Lift – April 10th, 2018

Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them (Ecclesiastes 12:1).

Pay close attention to the word “now.” We
tend to put off the really important changes
in our lives. Resolutions are made each new year
and the majority of those are soon forgotten.
We’ll find another day for diet and exercise.

Sadly, many people treat their faith like those
resolutions. They put off getting serious about
the Lord because they foolishly think they have
another day. “All such boasting is evil” (James
4:17). We are not guaranteed another day.

Both young and old should pay close attention
to this verse: “Remember now thy Creator.”
Do not put off developing your relationship
with God. Delaying obedience to God simply
solidifies bad habits.
