In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth (Genesis 1:1).
In Genesis 1:1 we find four amazing facts:
Time (in the beginning), Energy (God
created), Space (Heaven), and Materials
(Earth). This shows us five attributes of
God: Eternity, Immensity, Omnipotence,
Omniscience, and Omnipresence.
Don’t forget that this earth started with God
and our day must also start with God. When
we get up in the morning do we begin with
God? When we begin worship do we begin with
God? When we start a family did we start it
with God? Is God the beginning for your life?
The design of Scripture is not to tell us how
the heavens exist, but rather how to go to
Heaven!
