Shall be Filled

At the Fifth of Hebrews, it is observed that they are immature in the faith who remain upon the milk of the Word, while it is the proverbial strong meat that sustains those who are full of age. The latter have exercised their senses upon the Word in order to discern good and evil. In order to arrive at spiritual maturity, First Peter Two tells us that those newly born to the faith must have a desire for the milk of the Word so that they may grow thereby. These will savor the taste of the Lord’s graciousness. At the Sixth of John, the Savior promised that those coming to Him would have satisfied both their spiritual hunger and their thirst. As the Lord assured us at the Fifth of Matthew, those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled.
