He left heaven to be humiliated. Raised up in obscurity, humanity was unaware of His greatness. When He revealed Himself He was betrayed, denied, rejected, mocked, ridiculed, persecuted, tortured, and finally murdered.
In return – He offers redemption and remission of sins to all mankind and the inheritance of eternal life in heaven to all who obey Him!
Some serve in the palaces of kings, others are appointed to high places by presidents and heads of state. Movers and shakers in the business world have power and influence; diplomats hold sway over great events of this world. But without question there is no greater joy for man than to be a servant of Christ.
