Nothing is Hidden From Him
The Fourth of Genesis records a genealogy beginning with Cain and ending with his, great, great, great, great grandchildren. From Cain’s son to his fifth generation grandchildren, we know but little of any of these. However, their record in Scripture is evidence of a fact that should be familiar to us, even if the names of these were not recorded at all; they were, and still are, known of God. The Twenty Fifth of Matthew records the Savior describing the scene of the ultimate judgment. Verse Thirty Two quotes the Lord as saying that
all nations would be gathered before Him, and He would separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats. For such a separation of the saved and lost to be accomplished, the Judge of All would have to perfectly know every member of every family of every nation that has ever lived; and He does. At the Fourth of Hebrews, we are taught at Verse Thirteen that no creature is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. It is true; nothing is hidden from Him.
