The Perfecting of Holiness

Jehovah often called upon His people to imitate His own holiness. At Second Corinthians Chapter Seven, the Apostle Paul told us how. At Verse One, the apostle wrote that we must rid ourselves of all that would spoil such holiness by cleansing ourselves of all filthiness of the flesh and spirit. Next, holiness is perfected in the fear of God. At Ecclesiastes Chapter Twelve, Solomon wrote more than a millennium prior to Paul that the whole duty of a man is to fear God and keep His commandments. Quite apparently, one cannot indicate the fear of God in his life while shirking his obligations regarding Divine instructions. No instruction given through the Word to the Church is outside this obligation.
