All Liars
At the Twenty First of Revelation, there are listed eight sins at Verse Eight which result in the loss of souls in the lake of fire. The last on the list, liars, is the only one modified with the adjective “all.” Perhaps this is because there are many ways one can lie. One might bear false witness against another, as forbidden by the Ninth Commandment. One might lie in blasphemy against Deity, as is recorded at the Twelfth of Matthew. One might lie by the propagating of false doctrines, as is pointed out at First Timothy Four. One may also lie by living sinfully and claiming fellowship with God while doing so, according to First John One. Whatever the nature of the dishonesty, warning is given to all liars.
