Without Flesh and Bones

At the Fourth of John, the Savior described God as a Spirit and observed also at the Twenty-Fourth of Luke that a spirit does not have flesh and bones. The Athenians of Acts Seventeen should have taken all this into account when their own philosophers declared man to be the offspring of God, yet they worshiped gods of gold, silver, and stone. Because every living progenitor brings forth after its own kind, if God were gold, silver, or stone, we would be, too. Though God formed man of the dust of the earth and to be in His own image, it is a living soul that man became according to the Second of Genesis. It is not the body of man, but the spirit of man, that is made in the image of God, Who is a Spirit without flesh and bones.
