…Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you (Jeremiah 7:23).
The loving Creator knows what men need
to be happy. For it to “be well” with us,
we must hearken to Him.
Previously, God told Israel: “Ye shall walk in
all the ways which the LORD your God hath
commanded you, that ye may live, and that it
may be well with you, and that ye may prolong
your days in the land which ye shall possess”
(Deuteronomy 5:33).
Obeying God will change the very course
of our lives, and secure for us life eternal. If
we follow God’s way, it will “be well” with
us now, we will reach the Heavenly home
some day, and each step of our journey will
be filled with joy.
