Daily Lift – February 8th, 2018

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Headlines filled with violence cry for revival
(Psalm 85:6). Revival begins with the people
who wear the name of God. Are we real Christians,
or just wearing the name (Revelation 3:1)?

Set aside pride to find God’s favor (Proverbs
8:13; 16:18). The Lord said the humble would
be exalted (Luke 14:11).
Prayer is essential for one who would find
God’s face (1 Peter 3:10-12). It is a prayer
life filled with thanksgiving that overcomes
anxiety (Philippians 4:6-7).

Revival demands that we turn away from sin
(Colossians 3:1-3). Those in Christ no longer
walk in the way of sinners (Romans 8:1-2).
