Those Who Serve Him
At the Sixth of Ephesians, servants were taught to serve with respect and with sincerity of heart, as they would unto the Lord. Because all things are open and uncovered before the Lord, quality, conscientious service is to be rendered whether one believes he is being observed or not. However, those with servants were also admonished to properly treat those in their service, with the Fourth of Colossians adding that servants are to be provided that which is right and fair. The apostle reminded those with servants that there was a Lord in Heaven Who was Master of both the served and the servant. That same Lord rewards all for the good that is done, regardless of his role in life. Among those with servants, none is better than Christ to those who serve Him.
