Daily Lift – July 24, 2016

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil (Hebrews 5:14).

Just because one has been a Christian for years does not mean they are mature. If one remains spiritually immature, they do not come to fully appreciate their relationship with God and the spiritual blessings that they have in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).

If we are spiritually immature, we will not be able to teach others. We cannot teach that which we do not know.

A babe in Christ often has difficulty discerning the difference between good and evil. Therefore, “grow in grace and knowledge…” (2 Peter 3:18).
