He Destroys Them by Fire
The First of John places Jesus Christ at the creation of the world with God the Father and further points out that, without the former, there was nothing made that was made. Paul the apostle wrote in concert with this truth at the First of Colossians, declaring that it was by Jesus Christ that all things in heaven and earth were
created, adding that He is before all things and that by Him all things consist. Having created all things, the Savior is also described at the First of Hebrews as upholding all things by the word of His power. that it was by the word of the Lord that the heavens were of old and it is by that same word that they are kept in store and reserved until He destroys them by fire.
