Likely the most well-known Scripture in the Bible. What a thrilling message it brings. God did not just love us, He SO loved us. He did not just give something, He gave His only begotten Son. He did not merely offer us something good, He offers all everlasting life in heaven.
Consider: GOD – the most-powerful, all-knowing, everywhere-present One. SO LOVED – the greatest and deepest emotion. GAVE – an action of grace and mercy. JESUS CHRIST – the gift of God’s love, the only way by which man can obtain salvation from sins. FOR ME? Sinful, undeserving, frivolous me? With these facts, we can now understand more fully our Almighty Father in heaven.
