I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14).
The valiant apostle Paul had served God in all good conscience (Acts 23:1), even in error persecuting Christians. Upon learning the truth, he reversed directions from a persecutor to a proclaimer of Christianity as the only way to heaven.
Upon becoming a servant of Christ, Paul never looked back. He “kept on keeping on” toward the goal of heaven eternal. He neared the end of his life with confidence that God would give him a crown of righteousness (2 Timothy 4:6-8).
Let us follow Paul’s example (1 Corinthians 11:1) as he followed Christ, without wavering. Let us press toward the glorious prize.
