In Accord with His Will

Knowledge should not be considered as necessarily equal to theory or supposition. Knowledge is that which is verifiable fact. The Athenians of Acts Seventeen spent their time in nothing else but to tell or to hear some new thing; yet, Paul the apostle appraised their approach to religion as being too superstitious, and found them to be ignorant of God Himself and of man’s relationship to Him. This was in spite of the fact that Athenian philosophers had acknowledged man to be the offspring of God. Paul told the Athenians that Jehovah tolerated such ignorance for a time, but now required all men everywhere to repent. Such repentance would involve the eradication of ignorance by seeking the God Who may be found and by ordering one’s life in accord with His will.
