Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls (1 Peter 1:9)
Faith has a singular goal – the salvation of
our souls! We cannot please God without
faith (Hebrews 11:6). Our journey toward
God must begin with faith, and it must end
in faith as well. We must not allow anyone or
anything to shipwreck our faith (1 Timothy
1:19). Through devilish doctrines, Satan will
try to seduce us to depart from the faith (1
Timothy 4:1ff ), but we must “fight the good
fight of faith” until we lay hold of eternal life
(1 Timothy 6:12).
If we remain faithful we shall receive the end
of our faith – to rejoice with joy unspeakable
when we see Jesus coming in glory to take us
home (1 Peter 1:7-13)!
