Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he (Genesis 6:22).
When there is an obstacle to be faced, some people do not act; however, Noah did. When there are instructions given, some people will follow only some of the things required; however, Noah did all. When there is the need for authority, some people will heed just anyone’s will; however, Noah did God’s commands.
What, exactly, did Noah do? “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith” (Hebrews 11:7). It is no wonder that Noah delivered his own soul by his righteousness (Ezekiel 14:14, 20).
