Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer (Psalm 19:14).
The sacrifices to God mentioned by the psalmist are the thoughts and feelings of the soul, both audibly and inaudibly. Man’s innermost being is the most precious thing ever created by God and He wants us to share our souls with Him.
I have received multitudes of phone calls from my children over the years and now from grandchildren and great grandchildren and they all thrill me when I get them. God, too, is “thrilled” for His children to talk to Him and think about Him at all times.
Our thoughts and our speeches belong to Him. If you are His child, have you called home lately?
