In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him (1 John 4:9).
Consider this mind-boggling truth – the
Almighty God Who made the universe
(Jeremiah 32:17), loves you, and me (Jeremiah
32:18). We are awed by His power and amazed
that someone so powerful would condescend
to care about us!
He showed His love by sending His only
begotten Son into the world to die for us so
that we might live through Him (1 John 4:9).
Paul understood this: “…the life which I now
live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of
God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me”
(Galatians 2:20).
No matter what this day may bring, remember
the Almighty God loves you!
