Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created (Revelation 4:11).
Stop! Just stop, put everything down for just a moment and consider the thought expressed in Revelation 4:11. Think of all that God has already done for you – a world, a life, the sacrifice already made in order to offer salvation. Yet all too often, man allows God to become common-place and taken for granted.
Remember! Remember, Who God is and why man (and this world, the universe—all that is) exists. Consider the danger of failing to remember Who God truly is (Romans 1:21). Has God received your thanks, your praise, and been glorified by your life? Why not make this your daily purpose, always putting God in God’s place!
