Idle Who Become Disorderly

Though some have sought to harmonize Scripture and bad science by claiming that long ages are represented by the six days of Divine creation, God enjoined the Fourth Commandment by referring to the Sabbath Day in the exact same sense as He referred to the days of creation and referred to all in the same manner in which He referred to the other six days of the week. None are long ages, and all are days as we commonly understand them to be. Further, half the ordinance is often overlooked, for it not only enjoined rest on the Sabbath, but also work on the other six. Though the Second of Colossians tells us that Christians are not to be judged regarding the Sabbath, Second Thessalonians Three tells us it is the idle who become disorderly.
