Be Converted
At the Sixth of Isaiah, the prophet spoke of those who heard without understanding. At the Thirteenth of Matthew, the Savior declared that prophecy to be fulfilled in His present company. David declared the precepts of God to be his source of understanding, and an Ethiopian man at the Eighth of Acts is shown to have sought understanding from that very source. When Philip taught him about the Savior, the Ethiopian knew exactly what he needed to do and in Whose Name to do it. Yes, it is quite possible to see and hear with neither perception nor understanding. Fortunately, however, the Lord makes it possible for those who wish to do so to see the truth and perceive it, to hear the truth and understand it, and to be converted.
