The Promise is Kept

The Fourth of Romans teaches us that God called those things which be not as though they were. We see this principle in the creation itself, for the Hebrew writer pointed out that nothing seen is made of anything that appears to the eye. Rather, the worlds were framed by the Word of God. Further, God told Abraham that he and his childless wife would become the origins of the Israelite nation, by which all families of the earth would be blessed by the Savior that nation would produce. The child of Abraham and Sarah, the nation of Israel, the Savior, and the eternal blessing had not then been shown to man; yet, they came to pass as surely as did the heavens and the earth. To both the physical and the spiritual descendants of Abraham, the promise is kept.
