That is Your Kadesh-Barnea –
At the Fifteenth of Romans, Paul the Apostle taught us that the things written aforetime were written for our learning, that we, through patience and comfort of the Scriptures, might have hope. As one writing nearly three decades into the Christian Dispensation, Paul referred to the record of of the Patriarchal and Mosaic Dispensations which went before. Events of those ages type the events of our own. Among those events to be considered is the trek of the Israelites out of Egypt on their way to Canaan, the land God had promised them. Arriving at Kadesh in the wildreness of Paran, they were practically home when Moses sent spies into the land of promise. These returned with a glowing report of the land and its fruit, though they convinced the Israelites they were unable to take it. As a result, God sentenced them to wander forty years in the wilderness until their carcasses fell in it. Perhaps you have or may reach a point in life when you wonder if you have what it takes to continue to your Land of Promise. Be careful how and what you decide; you re in your Kadesh—Barnea.
