Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen (1 Timothy 1:17).
The Bible declares the eternality of God! He exists beyond the boundary of time. He is immortal, which means He does not die.
Mankind is mortal and can die. God, whose nature is eternal, is immortal. He lives forever.
Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman explaining, “God is spirit.…” He spoke of the invisible nature of God. Because He is spirit, He does not possess flesh and blood.
Each of these attributes causes us to give “honor and glory forever and ever.” We can do this by being faithful in our daily living.
