Daily Lift – September 26, 2015

He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad (Matthew 12:30).

There are two powers in this world: good and evil. The Lord is good, and Satan is against Him. Moses asked, “Who is on the LORD’s side” (Exodus 32:26). That day the Levites gathered themselves unto Moses. Let us serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15) because the Lord is victorious over Satan. He said, “…I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Satan is powerful. Satan is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Jesus Christ is more powerful. John wrote, “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them…” (Revelation 17:14). To overcome is to get the victory. Why not stand with the meek and humble at heart (Matthew 11:29)? He said He had overcome the world (John 16:33) and those who stand with Him will overcome the world and be victorious with Him.
