Let Him Hear
While it is the responsibility of the sower to scatter the seed, it is the earth in which that seed will spring up and grow, and the man that sowed it may never know how. Such is the Kingdom of God as the Savior depicted it at the Fourth of Mark. The fruit is one day borne, but there is no harvest where nothing has been planted. The Lord pointed out that the Kingdom itself grew from the tiniest mustard seed to become the greatest of herbs. The lodging of birds under its branches is indicative of the benefits to many resulting from those that did the sowing. While the world was taught to repent in order to prepare for the Kingdom, those whose responsibility it is to sow the seed of the Kingdom may need to repent of discouragement. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
