Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways (Haggai 1:7).
The world is full of critics. You can find them on every street corner. In politics, finances, the workplace, school, and in every other area of life, critics are crowded along the “red carpet” of life, eager to evaluate, critique, and consider the ways of their fellow man. But when it comes to personal reflection and self-evaluation, honest critics are hard pressed to find. Though many are eager to take on the task of critiquing their neighbor, few want to assume the job of evaluating self. Yet that is exactly what the Lord demands of each.
Have you stopped to consider your ways? Personal reflection is so very important. Let us take time this day to examine ourselves, whether we are in the faith (2 Corinthians 13:5).
