Good behavior is not just for children. “Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right” (Proverbs 20:11). Solomon’s beginning that proverb with the word “even” suggests that such a maxim is obviously true for adults as well. His father David knew well the importance of behaving not only well, but also wisely.

Each chooses how to act everyday. From our words and actions toward others, to the overall attitude and demeanor we display, we quickly gain a reputation based on our behavior. Choosing the path of wisdom and righteousness has many benefits, among which, two are chief. First, the Lord will be with us as He was with David. Second, the Lord will use us to bless others.
