Pure in Heart
The product of a publisher is often called an issue, and writers, editors, and typesetters determine its quality and content. Solomon referred to the products of our lives as issues at the Fourth of Proverbs, and declared the heart as that from which those issues spring. It is the heart that also determines the content and quality of the products of our lives, for Solomon wrote at the Twenty-Third of Proverbs to say that a man is as he thinks in his heart. First John Three promises that the redeemed of the ages shall see the Lord as He is, and those embracing this hope purify themselves after the manner of the Savior’s own purity. There can be no wonder then why the Savior taught us at the Fifth of Matthew that they shall see God who are pure in heart.
