And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul (Genesis 2:7).
Have you ever asked yourself why God created man? Isaiah 43:7 says, “Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”
God desired to share His love with His own offspring. Because we are created in His image, (Genesis 1:26), we are the offspring of God. His intention in giving us life included that He would be glorified.
So what is our life’s purpose? If it is the same as God’s purpose for us, it will be to glorify the One who both made us and then saved us by the blood of His Son!
