Daily Lift – August 27, 2016

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile (1 Peter 3:10).

If you can comprehend the power of the words you speak, it may just change the course of your life. Your mouth is a powerful tool, either for God or for the enemy. In other words, you can either speak optimistic, inspiring, encouraging things into existence in your life or produce negative, low-spirited and discouraging things.

Now, I really don’t imagine any of us want to be a mouthpiece for the devil, but the mouth can be used for blessing or destruction, not only in our lives, but also in the lives of others.

I, for one, would like to use my mouth for good and uplift others. I strive to show others Christ through my words and my actions. People should know that we are different from the world by the way we use our mouth for the Lord.
