Daily Lift – August 30, 2016

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars (2 Chronicles 16:9).

I have learned that if you make yourself usable, God will put you into every opportunity to be used. God is looking for faithful people that He can use. Faithful people though are hard to find. We all know those people that talk the talk, but they do not back up their talk with their walk.

God knows we are not perfect. Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Although we were born innocent, we were born into a sinful world, and He still loves us despite all of our shortcomings.

Today, let God use you in ways that will bless your life and the lives of others.
