See Him as He Is

At the Thirty-Third of Exodus, Moses asked to be shown the glory of God. Jehovah replied that He would cause all His goodness to pass before Moses; however, the Lord declared that no one could see His face, for no one could behold Him and survive the experience. While God manifested His presence in a number of ways, the fullness of His glory no man could see and live. This helps us understand why the Savior came to dwell among men as a man, though now He has resumed His glorified state at the right hand of God. However, upon His return, those roles will be reversed, and the redeemed of the ages will be changed to be as He. At First Corinthians Fifteen, Paul wrote that the corruptible will become incorruptible and the mortal shall become immortal. Though it does not yet appear what this shall be when these changes occur, John wrote at First John Three that we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
