Jesus told the raging Sea of Galilee, “Peace, be still!” (Mark 4:39). Man is sometimes like those waters that were tossed to and fro by the wind. Only the wind that often causes such turmoil in one’s life are the teachings of men (Ephesians 4:14). This tossing about brings doubt and destabilizes one’s faith (James 1:5-6).
The heathen may rage and make their plans but God’s response is to laugh at them (Psalm 2:1-4). There are times in life when one needs to simply pause and reflect upon the power and grandeur of God.
Exalt God!
