Who He’s Following
He is a good example who himself follows a good example. However, this principle requires everyone to know both good and poor examples when they see them. At the Third of Philippians, the apostle Paul admonished the Church to be followers of him, and to take note of others who did so. As Paul was a follower of Christ, he himself set an example to follow, and so did those who followed him. Unfortunately, there have been those in the religious world who forged the Lord’s Name upon their own selfish agenda and became the enemies of the very Christ they claimed to serve. Just as unfortunate is the fact that such ones led away others after them. Their end is destruction, and there they lead the blinded ones who follow them. Before choosing a leader, be certain of who he’s following.
